Charlie Health is the largest provider of virtual intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment programming to young people and families in crisis. Our virtual model allows us to treat 12-28 year olds who need therapy more than once per week, or who need additional support after completing an inpatient program. Charlie Health's IOP is rooted in a combination of group, individual, and family therapy that allows us to create personalized, holistic, and sustainable recovery programs.
We are proud to treat young people no matter where they live, who they are, or what they can afford. At the core of everything we do is the belief that healing is possible.
Our IOP is designed for teens and young adults in need of more support than one-time-per-week therapy.
IOP provides a comprehensive treatment solution that includes group, family, and individual therapy, typically lasting 6-10 weeks.
Each week, our clients engage in 9-11hours of treatment services, all from the comfort and safety of home.
We match clients and their families with primary therapists that specialize in their needs. Individualized support as a supplement to IOP group therapy allows space for clients to privately process their experiences, challenges, and discoveries.
In addition to individual support from primary therapists, clients have access to psychiatric care and on-going medication management, if needed. During the initial clinical consultation, our team can schedule psychiatric appointments within 48 hours and will continue to monitor the need for psychiatric care throughout treatment.
Here at Charlie Health, group therapy is a critical component of our virtual intensive outpatient program (vIOP).
We believe that a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy (plus any psychiatric care you or your loved one may need) is the most effective way to help you achieve your goals.
To lay the foundation for a successful path to recovery, every family member needs to participate in their loved's ones journey. By educating families as a unit, we provide the essential tools and support needed in order to understand, connect, and allow for a path towards mental wellbeing. Family therapy is a critical component of our virtual IOP program. vIOP ensures that your family can heal, together.
