Montana Matters with Montana Psychiatry

Montana Psychiatry & Brain Health Center

Who are we?

Dr. Erin Amato and our team at Montana Psychiatry is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful and comprehensive care serving the mental health needs of children and adults in the state of Montana.  Using an integrated care approach and cutting-edge treatments and interventions, we aim to restore hope and quality of life for our patients and their families.

Services we offer

Montana Psychiatry offers medication management, TMS and Ketamine services for children and adults across the state of Montana.  Telehealth appointments are available and we are in network with most insurances.

What is Ketamine therapy?

Ketamine infusion therapy is a unique treatment to improve the symptoms of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), OCD and sever anxiety.  We recommend an initial series of 6 treatments spaced over 2-3 weeks, followed by periodic maintenance treatments to help patients maintain a positive mood and back on the path to living the life that they want.

What is TMS?

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is an integrative treatment option to help treat depressive disorders and improve an individual’s quality of life.  TMS is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to alleviate symptoms of depression.  For optimal results, TMS requires a series of treatment sessions, typically 5 treatments per week for 4-6 weeks.
